Rodent Control

Rat & mouse control built for Vancouver's coast.

Mild winters and busy ports mean rats are a year-round issue in the Lower Mainland. We fix the problem by sealing the building — not just refilling traps.

Norway rats vs. Roof rats

Identifying the species changes the treatment. Norway rats are larger and burrow near foundations, garbage rooms and compost — common in East Van and Burnaby. Roof rats are agile climbers found in attics, fruit trees and ivy — common on the North Shore and in Kitsilano.

Why exclusion comes first

Killing the rats you can see does nothing about the next ones that walk in through the same hole. Our technicians map every entry point a rodent could use — gaps as small as a dime — and seal them with rodent-proof materials. Trapping is the second half of the job, not the first.

Signs you have an active infestation

  • Droppings in cupboards, garages or crawlspaces
  • Scratching or scurrying noises overhead at dusk
  • Greasy "rub marks" along baseboards and beams
  • Gnawed wiring, insulation or food packaging
