We started Seaside because the Lower Mainland deserved a pest control option that took the ocean as seriously as the infestation.
Our story
Seaside Pest Control was founded in 2014 by Mark and Dan Holloway, two brothers who grew up paddling in Deep Cove and watching the docks fill with rats every summer. After a decade working for national pest control chains, they wanted to build something local — a company that treated houses like neighbours, not job tickets.
Today we run a team of nine licensed technicians out of depots in East Van and North Vancouver. We're small enough that the owners still ride along on tricky jobs, and big enough that we can usually be at your door the same day.
The coastal commitment
Everything we spray goes somewhere. In Metro Vancouver, that "somewhere" is almost always a storm drain that empties into Burrard Inlet, False Creek or the Fraser. As a seaside business, we choose low-impact, targeted treatments over broad-spectrum chemicals — and we say no to jobs where we'd be asked to do otherwise.
